Reydon is a popular large village lying just a mile to the north of Southwold.
There are more than 2,500 residents and the village is well served by two shops, as well as the Randolph Hotel which also serves as a local pub and restaurant. The village also has a primary school and other local amenities.
Reydon is home to two wildlife reserves maintained by the Suffolk Wildlife Trust. Reydon Wood is very popular with walkers, especially in spring during the bluebell season. Hen Reedbeds is a haven for birdwatchers and its eastern border is just a short walk from the sea.
