Halesworth is an attractive market town in North East Suffolk, home to one of Flick & Son’s five branches. The town hosted a Roman settlement and archaeological research shows it has been a thriving community for hundreds of years.
The main Thoroughfare is pedestrianised, allowing visitors to peruse a wide variety of independent shops. A weekly market takes place on Wednesdays.
The town hosts its own arts festival annually in October. The Halesworth Arts Festival was established 14 years ago and the group behind it also stages a number of afternoon recitals.
Halesworth is easily accessible by rail on the Ipswich to Lowestoft line with connections to Norwich, London and beyond. The town is situated on a tributary of the River Blyth.
