Wangford is a well-served village with a population of around 600 and situated a short distance from Southwold and close to the A12.
The village boasts 2 pubs and village stores as well as a farm shop and local amenities including a community centre, playing field and allotments.
Wangford’s attractive village church was renovated in the 19th Century by the Rous family; nearly all of the derelict building was demolished and an impressive tower was built which stands to this day.
The parish of Wangford contains the Henham Park estate on its outskirts, home of the Latitude music festival.
